FURDY Trial Version – Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

The demo version of FURDY includes the full functionality of the application with limited sample content. Two example symbols are available in each category.

FURDY is a communication software for Android-based tablets and smartphones for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

The application helps people with limited or no spoken language to communicate clearly in everyday life and to visually structure processes.

FURDY was developed and further refined with a practical focus as part of the "Accessible Systems" degree program at Frankfurt University in collaboration with a day care center.

Accessible Operation:

FURDY features an integrated scanning function for operation via external input devices (e.g., buttons or keyboard) and can therefore be used even without touchscreens.

In scan mode, only fully functional features are displayed.

• Optional password protection for the administration area
• Full administration functions
• Custom images and voice recordings possible
• Customizable display and user interface

Full Version:

The full version additionally includes the complete METACOM symbol system with thousands of symbols and unlimited content in all categories.
