Text Recognition
Take a photo of a document directly with your camera, select an image from your gallery, or upload a PDF. OCRTool automatically recognizes the text and makes it available for copying, sharing, or saving. Text recognition runs entirely on your device, without an internet connection.

Redact and Export Securely
After text recognition, you can manually select individual lines or use automatic recognition. The app recognizes typical sensitive data patterns such as email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, customer numbers, and dates, and suggests them for redaction. Redacted areas are actually removed from the exported result, not just visually covered.

Neu ist außerdem ein dezenter Bewertungs-Dialog, der nach einer Woche Nutzung einmalig nach einer Bewertung im Play Store fragt. Du kannst jederzeit „Später" oder „Nicht mehr fragen" wählen.
