About this app
HonestDog connects you with verified dog breeders and with shelter dogs looking for a new home.
1. FIND YOUR DOG
• Browse verified breeders by breed, location and availability – identity and documents are checked
• See puppies with their parents, health tests and pickup details
• Find shelter dogs near you and contact the shelter directly
• Message breeders and shelters – messages, photos and appointments in one place, with instant push notifications when they reply
• Use our breed guide with health grades, character and care information
• Save favourites and set up search alerts for new puppies and dogs
2. KNOW WHAT COMES NEXT
• Puppy training step by step: house training, sit & down, loose leash, recall, alone time – short lessons with reminders
• Checklists for the road to your puppy: first equipment, pickup and paperwork
• Guides on health, food and socialisation
• Selected offers for pet health insurance, liability cover, food and accessories
HonestDog is free for buyers and adopters.
Important: HonestDog connects you with breeders and shelters – any purchase or adoption agreement is made directly between you and them. We do not sell dogs.
For breeds with breeding-related health problems (torture breeding) we deliberately do not list breeders.
