One of the best, almost I have tested many pedometer apps and I really like this one, I would use it instead of Google Fit, but there is one issue, the pause button. This ends up pressed by mistake sometimes and then I lose tracking data. I would never pause this and would like an option to show or hide the pause button or choose to pause from within the settings menu.
Good app except data wipe Would be nice to be able to edit the number of steps in previous days - sometimes after reboot data gets wiped for the day
I'm amazed what this app can do with a tiny 1.4 MB (the size it occupied on my Nexus 5) what other Apps achieve with many times that size. I'm equally impressed by its accuracy: I compared with a brand name App over five days and found it to be just as accurate. And lest I forget, it's also very frugal in consumption of the battery. Kudos to the developer for all these achievements.
So far, so good. I was using Google Fit until I found out about the Pedometer app. This has a much cleaner footprint, and significantly decreases battery drain typically associated with GPS/Accelerometer based step counters.
Superb but .... Needs km and miles option
GPS Permissions in Latest Update This application now requires device location and is no longer as lightweight as it was.
