Be nice is a tiny app launcher. Its sole purpose is to launch apps in split-screen mode. This is more than convenient if an app forces the device into portrait mode. While portrait mode is the preferred orientation on smartphones, tablets and foldables are often used in landscape mode. Instead of rotating your device just to be able to use an app, launch it using Be nice.

Even if an app does not lock the device into portrait mode, its user interface might not look great in landscape. Here, Be nice comes in handy, too. Just launch that app with Be nice, and enjoy a portrait orientation while in landscape mode.

To launch an app in split-screen mode from your home screen, tap and hold the app inside Be nice, and select Add link. This will create a shortcut to the app on your home screen.

This is the best app I've been looking for, just that it refuses to work on my luncher, i am using windows 11 luncher, but when i switched to default launcher, it works well, i can't sacrifice the launcher for this, please work on it and let it work on every luncher, I'm on Android 14. I can mail you any information you need.

Finally it works. even though it doesn't split when launching the 1st time, but it makes splitting screen easier. Thank you dev!!

have a pixel fold? you need this. settings could use some detail or explanation. as example. not sure what makes a shortcut dynamic. app open delay is great. would love if it could be longer to allow sign in on one app first. aside from this, great job! must have app.
