About this app

With our Nutrition Diary app, you can easily calculate the calories you need to achieve your goal weight ā€“ whether it's losing or gaining weight. Simply tell the app your target weight and the time frame in which you want to achieve it, and it will calculate the recommended calorie intake for each day based on your current weight, BMI, and remaining time.

Alternatively, you can also determine a fixed calorie amount yourself or set a fixed calorie deficit or surplus.

Additionally, you'll receive support through color-coded energy density labeling for each food item. This allows you to quickly see which foods are helpful (green) or detrimental (red) for weight loss.

New to the app is the ability to view a short-term evaluation of the average weight over the past 4 weeks and track your progress compared to the previous week. Furthermore, the app provides a long-term evaluation of weight trends over the last 6 months.

What sets this app apart? It DOESN'T come with a huge online food database! This may initially seem like a drawback, but that's precisely why I developed the app.

Normally, each of us has our standard meals and doesn't need the nutritional information for "Gourmet Catering" (just an example ā€“ I don't need it). Simply enter the nutritional values of your foods into the app. Weigh your "normal" portion size once and enter that too. This way, you can use the Nutrition Diary even when you don't have internet access :-)

When entering data, the Nutrition Diary automatically detects whether you're inputting grams or portions (e.g., number of slices of bread).

I hope this app also supports you in achieving your nutritional goals!
