This and the previous update have been giving me problems. In order to get new messages or delete old messages I have to repeatedly open and close the app. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times. I have tried clearing cache several times, nothing helps. For 5 years it worked perfectly, now nothing but problems. The desktop version works perfectly. there's nothing wrong with the phone, every other app works fine.

I love Tuta since I got it a few months ago. But I do agree with the person saying notifications don't come through unless you open the app. I get nothing at all and when I open the app, notifications come through. Very disappointing especially if you're selling things and can't reply to buyers as fast. I also hope for some more themes other than red and blue

When they changed name from Tutanota to Tuta, they updated the app. Since then, it has stopped notifying me of new emails. It will go weeks without a notification and then suddenly a notification. When I open the app, it will download dozens of new emails that came in over the past few weeks. I have permission set to allow it to run in the background and I do not have a battery saver app that shuts down idle apps. It just doesn't work anymore.
