One daily set of Korean initial consonants. How many words can you collect?
Choseong is a Korean-language word collection game. Instead of guessing just one answer, recall several nouns that match the same three initials and grow your own small dictionary.
GROW FROM A SPROUT TO A FOREST
Use your device's Korean keyboard to enter nouns. Accepted words from the curated list earn points according to their length and raise your grade. Wrong or duplicate entries do not remove points. The game explains mismatched initials, repeated words and words outside the curated list.
DISCOVER THE HIDDEN DAILY WORD
Follow a three-step ladder: a theme, the first syllable's vowel and part of a dictionary definition. The first two clues are free; the third can be unlocked with an optional rewarded ad. Finding the hidden word earns 50 bonus points and a star on your result card.
A FRESH DAILY SET AND PAST ANSWERS
A new set appears each day. Browse past word lists and definitions. Yesterday and the day before are free; older sets can be unlocked once with a rewarded ad and remain available. When advertising is unavailable, these features open for free.
A QUIET PAPER DICTIONARY
Navy ink, light paper and serif consonant tiles keep the focus on words. A large-text setting is available. Your collection, clues and streak are saved on your device. Share a result card that keeps today's answers hidden.
ADS AND ACCESS
There are no banner ads while collecting and typing. Banners appear only with results or past answers. Interstitial ads are not shown in the first session and are limited to one per day. Rewarded ads are optional for clues or older sets. No account, login or in-app purchases are required. The game uses Korean-language knowledge and is not designed for children.
CURATED WORDS
This version uses a selected noun list, not every word in the dictionaries. You can save suggested missing words locally and copy the list from Settings. Suggestions are not automatically sent anywhere.
DICTIONARY ATTRIBUTION
Words and definitions come from the National Institute of Korean Language's Standard Korean Language Dictionary and Urimalsaem (국립국어원 표준국어대사전·우리말샘). Dictionary data is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0 KR (Attribution-ShareAlike). We normalized spaces and hyphens, selected common nouns, shortened definitions and grouped words by initials. Adapted dictionary data uses the same license and is managed separately from the app code. Source records and license details are available in the app.
