About this game

When did it happen? Slot each event into the right place on the timeline.

Yeonpyo is a daily Korean-language puzzle about Korean history. Instead of memorizing dates, you compare each event with the ones before and after it and build a feel for the order of history.

ONE DAILY PUZZLE, THE SAME FOR EVERYONE
A new puzzle opens every midnight (Korea time). Three anchor events sit on the timeline; place the eight events in your hand one at a time. Tap a gap once to select it and tap again to place the card, so mis-taps are rare.

THREE LIVES AND A HELPFUL MISS SHEET
A wrong placement costs one life and the card moves to its correct spot. You see the real year, the events right before and after, and a one-line memory hook. If you like, watch an optional rewarded ad to win back one life once per puzzle.

MISSED EVENTS COME BACK IN THREE DAYS
Missed events go to your review notebook and return three days later in a personal review round. Get them right and they leave the notebook; miss again and they come back three days later.

STREAKS AND ERA STAMPS
Collect stamps for seven eras, from ancient kingdoms to modern Korea, each week. Finishing the daily puzzle grows your streak, and you can share an emoji result card that hides the event names and years. Puzzles from the last 30 days can be replayed.

EXAM COUNTDOWN
The home screen shows the days left until the next announced Korean History Proficiency Test. This is an unofficial learning game and is not affiliated with the National Institute of Korean History or the test.

200 EVENT CARDS WITH SOURCES
The game includes 200 event cards from ancient Korea to the present. Event years were checked one by one against public references such as the Encyclopedia of Korean Culture and Uri History Net; card descriptions and memory hooks are our own writing. Events with strongly disputed dates are excluded, and founding years of the Three Kingdoms and Gaya follow the traditional Samguk Sagi records. See Settings > Sources in the app.

ADS AND ACCESS
No ads appear while you play. Banners appear only on the home and result screens, and interstitial ads appear only when opening past puzzles, with limits (none on the install day). No account, login or in-app purchases. Your records stay on your device. A large-text setting is available. The game is in Korean.
