Which town is this? Name the Korean city or county from its outline alone.

Eoneu Goeul is a daily Korean-language map quiz. Each day you see the shape of one of Korea's 167 cities and counties and try to name it.

ONE DAILY PUZZLE, THE SAME FOR EVERYONE
A new puzzle opens every midnight (Korea time). Mondays are cities, weekends are counties, and other days can be either. Recently used places do not come back for a while.

TYPE JUST THE INITIAL CONSONANTS
Type a name or only its initial Hangul consonants and pick from the suggestions. Places with the same name are shown with their province.

DISTANCE AND DIRECTION ON EVERY MISS
Each wrong guess shows the distance in km from your guess to the answer, the direction, and how close you were (%). Get it within six guesses to win.

HINTS
The neighbour-count hint is free once a day. If you like, watch a short optional rewarded ad to reveal the province or to get one extra guess (once per puzzle).

RESULTS AND ATLAS
The result screen shows the answer on a map of Korea with its area, population and neighbours. Every place you solve is coloured in your province atlas; complete a province to conquer it. Build a streak and share an emoji result that hides the place name. Puzzles from the last 7 days can be replayed.

DATA SOURCES
Boundaries, area and population come from the open "SGIS administrative district statistics and boundaries" dataset published on the Korean Public Data Portal (data.go.kr) with no usage restrictions. Boundaries are simplified for display. This is an unofficial quiz app and is not affiliated with any government agency.

ADS AND ACCESS
No ads appear while you play. Banners appear only on the home, result and atlas screens, and interstitial ads appear only when opening past puzzles, with limits (none on the install day). No account, login or in-app purchases. Your records stay on your device. A large-text setting is available. The game is in Korean.
