About this app

Most contact apps treat your address book like a product. Alright Contacts treats it like a personal space. This is a quiet, open-source alternative for anyone who values simplicity, privacy, and the freedom to make an app truly their own.

🕵️ Invisible by Choice
Some numbers and names are just for you. With Alright Contacts, you can create private entries that never leave your device. They won’t show up in other apps, won’t sync to any cloud, and won’t be indexed by system search. No questions asked. No data harvested.

📴 Offline. Always.
Alright Contacts works completely offline. No internet? No problem. No account? Even better. Your contacts live on your device, where they belong.

🧹 Clean by Default
No ads. No spam notifications. No permission scares. We don’t ask for call logs, location, or storage access unless you explicitly need it. Just a clean, fast, respectful tool.

Alright Contacts isn’t trying to be smart. It’s trying to be silent, simple, and yours.
Secure, customizable contact manager.

Bug with Chinese characters. Unable to merge duplicate contacts if name field has Chinese characters. Shows up as two entries, one from source A, one from source B. Tested and found that this bug doesn't occur if name field doesn't contain Chinese characters. Edit: Further testing revealed this problem also seems to appear when more than one character is entered into a field. Another issue: it merged two contacts it thought were the same person. There's no option to unlink them.

New version is awesome, but all my relationship contacts are duplicating. This was happening on the old version and the new version.
