Get the readability of Light mode in bright daylight and the eye-comfort (and battery-comfort) of Dark mode in low light. This allows for a true auto dark mode experience that native Android doesn't offer.

Android restricts apps from changing system themes by default. To unlock this feature, a specific permission is needed.
• Easy Setup: Use our setup website on a secondary device. No code or ADB required, just a web-browser.
• Expert Setup: Advanced users can also use ADB, Root or Shizuku.
✅ Is it safe?
Yes. It does not grant root access or read any data. It just allows the app to flip the "Dark Mode" switch. This is absolutely safe and completely reversible.

No. But it can optionally be used to set up the service.
2. Why didn't the theme change immediately?
To prevent flickering while you use the phone, Adaptive Theme only switches the theme just after the screen turns on and only when the device is not covered.
3. How do I grant the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission?
Adaptive Theme offers an easy setup process with four different methods to choose from:
• Web Tool (Recommended): Connect to our interactive setup website via USB (WebADB).
• Shizuku: Grant permission directly on your phone with Shizuku.
• Root: One-click setup for rooted devices.
• Manual ADB: Run the ADB command manually.
4. Does it work with custom skins (MIUI, OneUI)?
In most cases, yes. It works with any system that respects the native Android Dark Mode implementation. If it does not work for you, please let us know via the in-app feedback option.
