Motion Detector Pro is a home security camera app, that uses the built-in camera to detect movements in the surrounding area using an advanced motion detection algorithm. If it detects movement it sends an email with a picture link to another cell phone, allowing you to remotely monitor an area using your Android phone. Use it to keep an eye on your pet, your business/office or home. Motion Detector Pro can:

Really wanted this app to work. It would not send an email via 4G connection. Thought it was my VPN. Allowed it to tunnel VPN free. That didn't work either; no email. I had images coming up on their cloud even. Can't delete images once they are on their cloud and that makes me really suspicious about privacy concerns. It'll capture pics to your phone and you can change sensitivity settings, but no video. It takes 10-20seconds to setup again. What if the intruder saw the phone and delete image?

The app works just fine, for outdoors I would suggest you set it to 15-25 for sensitivity for the best experience, otherwise for in doors your best bet is to leave it in a range of 4-10, the app will also detect flashing lights, any movement, and track the movement down to the pixel, the app also sends an email with pictures and a picture of where the motion was detected, to save memory best to stick to cloud, especially of you want to receive the email of the pictures. So far: it seems to work, but there are no settings for camera image size, no settings for ISO, or exposure, the image viewer allows no zoom, crop, adjustment of any kind. The folder stated in "help" seems to not exist in my SD card. Minimally useful, as is... Happy to change rating if these issues are fixable, or just not visible to me?
