The app works well when it comes to controlling the AC units. However, there's basic functionality lacking. It's impossible to change the unit name, not great if you have multiple units which all get a very non-descriptive name. In their 2014 Controller tutorial video renaming is actually an option, but not anymore. Native Google Home integration (instead of an IFTTT workaround) would be appreciated as well.

It does exactly what is supposed to do. Before giving less than 5 stars to this application, because "it doesn't work", just be sure that your wifi module is properly installed on your device to be controlled and you can read the instructions for sincronizations between app and your devices. And that's all. Works perfectly and without lag, is just like devices remote control. Plus you can schedule the entire week (can't do that with native remote control). 5 stars from me.

Provides roughly the same functions as the standard remote control plus the energy consumption display. App is functional but with some strange quirks and bugs. Why is the temperature set with 1 degree steps when the remote control does half degrees? And why does the app keep refreshing the list of units every time (causing unnecessary delays) when there is a clear refresh button on the screen? Units are also randomly dropping off the "out of home" service which makes the cloud function useless.
