About this app

ADR test practice for dangerous goods drivers preparing for training assessments in Great Britain. ADRpass supports drivers working towards an ADR card, often called an ADR licence, with 2,496 questions in British English.

ADR TRAINING REVISION BY MODULE
Revise Core, Common characteristics, Classes 1 to 9, Packages and bulk, and Tanks. The question bank follows the subjects taught to drivers who carry dangerous goods by road, whether in packages or tankers.

Work through 567 picture questions covering hazard warning labels, placards, orange-coloured plates, vehicles and situations from dangerous goods transport. After checking an answer, read a clear explanation and see the source used to write the question.

ADR TEST PRACTICE
Every paper now follows the British format. Core is 25 questions in 40 minutes and needs 18 correct. Common characteristics and Tanks are 20 questions in 30 minutes, Packages and bulk 15 questions in 25 minutes. The classes are examined in groups, the way Britain sets them: group A takes classes 2, 3, 6 and 8 in 36 questions, group B takes classes 4, 5 and 9 in 24. On Core, Common characteristics, Packages and bulk and Tanks you also pick a first-time paper or a refresher one. You answer without hints and go through every mistake at the end. These figures come from training providers and from drivers who have sat the papers, not from a published rule, so the session is revision rather than a copy of an official paper.

PRACTISE VEHICLE MARKING
Learn markings by doing the job. Tap a sign, tap the spot on the tanker, and it hangs there. Dragging works too. Submit the layout and compare your work with the correct arrangement. Separate drills cover numbers, transport documents and ADR markings.

FOCUS ON WEAK AREAS
Today's plan selects a manageable study session. Progress is broken down by course topic, so you can see which parts need another look. Mistake practice returns to difficult questions, while scheduled reviews bring material back at the right time.

The app contains no official exam questions. It does not replace an approved ADR course, practical training or the required assessments, and it cannot guarantee a pass.

What’s new

The questions match the rules in force in 2026, and the app now says so on the legal basis screen.

After an exam, the result and the history tell you whether it was a first attempt or a refresher. The pass mark on the class papers matches the 70% DVSA requires again, and the refresher now covers every class you can carry on the card.
