About this app

Put the printed ADR on your desk from the first study session. The German IHK exam is open book, so the useful skill is finding the right provision and building a complete answer under time pressure. GGB Trainer makes that part of the practice instead of turning the material into a memory test. Paragraph Hunt focuses on finding provisions; Rulebook Sprint gives you 100 seconds for each one.

ROAD TRANSPORT ONLY

This edition prepares for the road examination, which means ADR. Rail, inland waterway and sea are not covered. If you are sitting one of those three, you will only find the shared general part here.

PRACTICE THE WORK THE EXAM REQUIRES

The app contains 1111 tasks across 10 subject areas, including ADR and German national law: GGVSEB, GGAV, GGBefG, ODV, and RSEB. The set includes 20 case studies worth 10 points each.

Open-response tasks are scored criterion by criterion. Every open task shows the elements your answer needed to include, with one point for each element met. That makes it clear what was missing and what to revisit in the rulebook.

TWO GERMAN IHK EXAM FORMATS

The initial exam mode has 60 points in 100 minutes. The pass mark is 30, and the paper includes one 10-point case study. The renewal exam mode has 30 points in 50 minutes, a pass mark of 15, and no case study.

A dangerous goods safety adviser's certificate is valid for 5 years, which is why renewal has its own mode rather than being folded into general practice.

BUILD RECALL AND RULEBOOK SPEED

Alongside quizzes and exam sessions, there are 359 flashcards in 10 decks, one per subject area. Every card names the provision the answer comes from. Paragraph Hunt trains the route from a question to the relevant ADR provision. Rulebook Sprint adds a clock. Keep the printed rules beside you and practice the same physical search you will need in the exam.
