Private accountability
Use optional friends, private text conversations, a protection partner for approved changes, and one shared moderated Community. Community and private conversations are text-only and include reporting and blocking. Private messages to confirmed friends are stored server-side for no more than 30 days and then deleted.

Local-first by default
Sensitive focus profiles, blocking rules, app and domain choices, screen-time details, and local filter data stay on your device by default. Your account stores access, trial, subscription, and limited progress data. Side Quests stay local unless you enable account backup. ZUHD does not store complete browsing histories, full URLs with query parameters, keystrokes, screenshots, location histories, address-book contacts, or VPN traffic.

Optional Android access
With your explicit approval, ZUHD may use Android Accessibility to display a local block screen, apply rules on supported browser and short-video surfaces, and run the separately enabled device-settings guard. ZUHD performs no gestures and leaves unsupported or ambiguous cases unblocked. You can withdraw consent at any time.
The optional Android VpnService filters selected domains on-device. It does not provide a remote VPN, change your location, decrypt HTTPS, install certificates, or log VPN traffic.

Access and ads
The three-day trial includes full Premium access without ads. Free keeps Home, Side Quests, and basic Focus with up to three saved profiles and three active time windows, and may show ads. Premium unlocks full protection, advanced app, domain and category rules, detailed progress insights, the complete Mastery journey, additional focus profiles and schedules, and an ad-free experience. Ads never appear during active focus or in blocking, protection, privacy, account, support, or payment flows.

ZUHD is voluntary. Android and device manufacturers can limit background services, local filtering, Accessibility, and battery operation. Results depend on enabled permissions, supported apps and browsers, and device behavior. ZUHD adds practical friction; it does not promise an unbreakable block.
