Terveykylä diary is a mobile application that connects to Terveykylä's Omapolu, which can be used to send information to the caring professional, e.g. about a symptom or monitored value, as needed, up to several times a day. Using the application requires registration for Omapolu.
The diary application is intended for data entry and data transfer, i.e. the application itself does not contain calculations, graphic generation or alarms. Treatment monitoring always takes place on the digital treatment path under the supervision of a professional. The diaries in the application can also be connected to the self-care programs on Omapolu, in which case the diary information is only visible to the user himself.
Omapolku is a healthcare digital service channel that can also be connected to digital treatment paths and self-care programs. The healthcare unit treating you may have the Omapolku service channel in use, in which case you will be asked to register for the service. Omapolku is a secure service environment that uses strong identification. The service is logged in with Finnish bank credentials or a mobile certificate.
The digital treatment paths that open up on the Omapolku service channel are online treatment programs that are opened by health care based on a referral or an existing treatment relationship. Some of the digital treatment paths are coaching and therapy programs implemented entirely online, while others are closely connected to the treatment provided in the hospital.
