HOW TO CREATE YOUR LA POSTE DIGITAL IDENTITY?
Are you an adult, have a valid French identity document and have a compatible smartphone? Download our application and follow the creation steps OR go to a post office to create your Digital Identity with a customer service representative.

WHERE TO USE THE LA POSTE DIGITAL IDENTITY?
You can use your La Poste Digital Identity to access more than 1,400 public and private services online via the FranceConnect portal: public services, energy suppliers, banks, mutual insurance companies, postal services, and many others.

HOW TO USE THE LA POSTE DIGITAL IDENTITY?
Each time you go to a site offering to connect with La Poste Digital Identity:
1 - Click on the La Poste Digital Identity button;
2 - Enter your identifiers;
3 - Confirm that it is you who is connecting by validating the connection request on the Digital Identity application.
La Poste Digital Identity is based on the unique combination of your username, your mobile application and your secret code. This strong authentication procedure makes it possible to guarantee your access by ensuring that it is indeed you who are at the origin of the connection request. With La Poste, Digital Identity is simpler, safer and more practical.

BE VIGILANT, NEVER COMMUNICATE YOUR SECRET CODE OR NEVER ACTIVATE YOUR DIGITAL IDENTITY IF SOMEONE ASK YOU FOR IT FACE TO FACE, BY PHONE OR BY EMAIL.
- La Poste does not canvass to encourage the creation of a Digital Identity or to offer support for the creation of a Digital Identity.
- La Poste will never ask you for the confidential code of your Digital Identity. Never entrust your confidential code to a stranger, your Digital Identity is personal.

Around 10 actions and more than 1 day to create an ID. Then when your ID is validated you should download this app, and when you want to use the ID you are obliged to log on the La Poste account again, receive sms... I guess it was to simplify something, but what? And if you don't have your phone with you all the time, you can't register on the website using this app.

Trash. One of a few accounts mandatory in order to prove identity and request a copie integrale of a French birth certificate online and it's incapable of sending the SMS verification code to non-French phone numbers, so actually making an account is impossible. And don't even try using a French relative's phone number - by the time the SMS code arrives to a French number it's already expired. All the other apps usable with FrenchConnect are like this too. What a shameful embarrassment.

Created an account, got the passport approved and need to go back to validate. I authenticate, and everything stays white, nothing loads. Tried to wipe cache and data, tried to open the auth window on the system browser, nope, nothing works. Unusable.
