Phallaina is entirely free !

A Scrolling Graphic Novel for tactile screens.
Peabody award 2017.
Halfway between a graphic novel and an animated film, Phallaina is the first scrolling graphic novel for tablets and smartphones. Available for free on iOS and Android, in English and French, the app delivers over 1.5 hours of scrollable reading experience. Conceived by Marietta Ren and the Small Bang studio, and accompanied by an entrancing sound design by Côme Jalibert, this horizontal-scrolling, panel-less digital comic book uses parallax effects in order to bring an immersive depth to the narrative.

The story
In a world similar to ours, where cities have adapted to the rising waters, Audrey follows a series of clinical trials in order to understand the origins of her hallucinatory fits, which are populated by huge white whales. Thus begins the intimate adventure of her personal transformation, combining cognitive sciences and mythology... and changing the course of her destiny in the process.
International recognition
Released in January 2016, selected as part of the official competition of the Angoulême International Comic Book festival, as well as the Naples Comicon, Phallaina has also won the Best digital comic award at the 2016 New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles, and has known a great amount of success in numerous festivals such as the Peabody awards and the Webby awards.

But our biggest reward are your stars, shares and comments which fill us with joy and gratitude!

And for those of you who have not yet taken the plunge, hesitate no longer :) !
Download Phallaina now, and delve right into Audrey's world.

I gave this five stars, because for one, I loved it!! I loved the unique technique of forming the story and how it was delivered- this one took the cake, by inspired continuous one page story set in black and white artistically synchronized dream-like animation instead of the commonly method used page turning mode on tablets... and the best thing about it is I got to read this for free! I would gladly make donations if I had money!! Hats off to Phallaina!! it will be remembered fondly!!

The story was great. Although It wasn't excellent, to me It's the best graphic novel I've ever read. It's narrative story, black and white images and excellent soundtrack is possible to be liked and enjoyed by everyone. The scrolling way of reading is enjoyable and It's soundtrack, frameless reading interface and most importantly it's scrolling narration gives a completely instinctive reading experience. However, as I said, the story wasn't the most excellent. The story starts directly indicating the main object makes it a bit unenjoyable. The first time the reads they usually skips it go ahead. But readers who have read it twice or started to read twice can easily understand it. The story rarely goes out of it's main subject. Films are often enjoyable because they have scene that isn't needed for the story which might make it longer but more enjoyable, Which have sequence that we do in real life making it more like reality. Also the research center building in the story often looks unreal as it often looks like a fantasy thing or a Sci-Fi indicates the future. They should be aware about It for their next graphic novel.

This is a fantastic experience, the graphic novel truly does a fast job, with its breathtaking animation and marvellous sound effects. It exceeded all of my expectations, a deep psychological enlightening journey, with bits of fantasy and sci fi theme mixed with it. It is highly recommended to everyone to read this for sure. Looking forward to more future projects from the author and development team.
