App is useful but prefer the daily email in the morning. I don't usually have time to open app and enter zip code in the morning. It is afternoon before I can open app. Too late. What has happened to emails? I stopped getting them 2-3 weeks ago. Tried to subscribe, unsubscribe and re-subscribe. I get confirmation email. Every time I click on link to confirm, I see a message that looks like it was confirmed. I close tab. When I open a new Google tab, there is a CDX error so I assume my confirmation didn't work. I've sent email inquiry but have't received a response back.
This app was great when I first started using it. It had giving me the hourly UV forecast which was really helpful. Now I tried to enter ZIP or used ups and gives me nothing. Sometimes the app closes for no reason which doesn't really matter because it never gives me any information anyway. This app officially sucks and I no longer wanted and have uninstalled
Folks, you don't have to enter your zip code every time. Just hit that little target icon and it finds your location. Good app. Not the most attractive app, but it does the job, needs minimal permissions, and the EPA is probably where all of those other apps are getting their data anyway.
Have used it for years to avoid getting burned. Not pretty, but does what it says! Best part, minimal PERMISSION requirements. Free + no ads! Also works based on zipcode or GPS. Finally has an option to see 4-day forecast map, too the image is soo small and national.
Useless Showed no changes to UV index all day, had to enter my location each time I tried to use it, no widget. I might as well just Google the UV index; at least then I'll get accurate information for basically the same amount of effort that it took to use this app. Uninstalling.
The app is fine Does what its supposed to. However, I only downloaded it to port it to Windows Phone, ergo the one star. Too many developers skip over WinPhone sadly.
