Great App, but it can't be a sole resource. It does NOT include wilderness area! That is a very easy feature to add, since there are shapefiles available, but for some reason they aren't in here? If they were in here, it would easily be 5 stars. Wilderness areas are crucial to know, especially here in the PNW where we are surrounded by them, but alas, I have to use a separate app for that.

Hi, Brandon. Aloft has been in touch with the National Park Service about using Aloft's Geo Portal to upload and include this data. We hope to have their data live and visible for drone pilots in the near future. In the meantime, please feel free to use our submission forms to note any areas that you believe are incorrect or missing.

UPDATE: warning; "update" is not an update, it's an execution. kills your existing version. don't install. update: no longer working. can't find my location and yes, it's enabled. reinstalled twice. giving up. took a little time to figure out all the information contained in the app, but it's one I use before every launch. you can't assume it's always OK to fly where you are, even if you've flown there before. conditions change and this app tells you what you need to know.

App works well when you first open it, but there is no refresh option to find your current location short of closing the app completely and reopening. Laanc authorization is quick and easy. app seems to have been retired. get it out of the store.
