This app could be made to look sleeker, no doubt. I think something that could make it 100× better is if it auto filled the location part of the zone automatically, instead of us always having to choose what city we are in. For parking, this app is trying too hard to be complex. No need. Just let us type in our zone number, select a car (make a default option to bypass this too) and then pay for selected time. That's all it should be.

After using this app, I can only surmise that Flowbird has no UX designers working there...or the ones that do work there have never parked their car using a mobile app before. It's really a horrible experience. All I'm trying to do is: 1. Pick a parking spot 2. Easily enter that parking spot into the app 3. Pay for that spot 4. Tell me when my time is about to expire so I can take appropriate action. My suggestion would be, as I'm doing, let your city know how bad the experience is.

I've had some issues with loading which is frustrating when I'm in a rush, and sometimes the app has trouble finding my current location. However, on the whole Flowbird is so much better than paying at the meter, which is often out of my way with a line of people. This is faster than paying at the meter even without a line, and there's a permanent record in case you get a ticket you have to fight.
