App was basically unusable. Bikes could never unlock, and creating an account was awful. Picking your birth date is required, but you have to use a calendar instead of entering your birthday. This means, to hit the minimum age of 18, you need to hit the button to move the calendar back 216 times. One of the worst interfaces I've ever seen. Just walk

Hello Mr. Hartz, If you click once in the field "year", you will be able to select the year of your choice. Then you can proceed with the month and day. This is the standard Android date dialog. We hope this makes the process easier! Your MVG Rad Team.

Home screen is bloated with unnecessary information - car/bike/scooter sharing. It's a waste of data and bandwidth. Journey results are very bad in terms of information density. Old app had up to 10 results on results page, I didn't even have to scroll down. New one has barely two lines of results and this is completely inconvenient. The app won't remember my search preferences, I only care about S-Bahn and app always wants to display tram, bus, train and boats(!) on top of that.

Police and traffic information for Munich public transportation are hidden, until you enter a journey in this App. The predecessor was much better in that aspect. Despite it becoming mandatory, it seems to turn out even worse. Display of delays has been inaccurate for a lot of the last trips, the traffic information is convoluted and you have to know your way around town, to even realize, it doesn't affect the part of the line you're actually using the transport for.
