I cannot tell you how much this is a terrible update/upgrade. Next to impossible to determine the "closest" meter is and no notification of your time running out. This app just cost me $45 ticket. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the previous version. Terrible decision. I notice there is no response to the lack of notification. The point of the app is to remind you to pay the meter. based on reviews below others are experiencing the same thing. There is no way this should have made it past some level of quality control.

Hi, we value your feedback. I understand there were some concerns about locating a zone to park in. On the new app, you can either select a specific zone that can be found on local signage indicating the zone number or use the map to select the one nearest you. The app is great when it works. However, most of the time, I am not able to complete a transaction. The error message is usually regarding connectivity issues. But, I do not have connectivity issues with other apps on wifi, etc. I can only hope that the city of Detroit will take serious efforts to improve this app and apparent connectivity issues.

I set up my account and made a reservation. Now I need to cancel the reservation, but the app wont let me. Even though it clearly states that cancellation is allowed up until the day of the event. It even shows a place to cancel, but it doesnt seem to work. I contacted them by email and on the phone. And they just say it is not possible to cancel. They say its againts their policy. But it clearly says different on the app.
