Using this for a year or so now.. Overall the idea and usefulness of expo is 5/5. Execution of product 3/5. Comments aren't wrong, tons of issues, for me worst is how horrible debug mode is, and how it screws up things even when you turn it off, to the point of needing to Uninst. And install to work again. But many connection issues ppl complain about can be easily solved with a few google searchs and making sure you are connected to same wifi router at home on devices.

Game changer for React Native development, but the latest version of the app is not out yet, causing dozens of errors in my latest-version project I just started. I can't for the life of me get a default template to run on Expo Go anymore. Yes, I did try downgrading packages to compensate, but it still won't run.

reason I'm giving 3 stars and not 5 is app had been working fine couple little tweaks you have to do to get it to bundle your newest build after you make a change like just xing out the app and re opening.....but now last night I would scan the QR code and even tho I made changes to my app say changed a white background to black expo was still showing the app before the changes so the back round was still white making me think it was a coding error I did and come to find out it was just expo
