LOVE The Bert Show and i finally decided to download the app but it doesn't even stay on. As soon as my screen turns off, the whole app closes and it doesn't even open to what I was listening to. I didn't even get thru the 1st ad of the 1st podcast before it timed out. I even went to look for permissions to see if I had to turn it on to play in the background but it doesn't have the option. Super bummed.

The show is great. The app not so much. Can't download episodes anymore so I have to scroll through 1000 episodes to get to what I want. Also can't play in background anymore so once screen timesout or u lock your phone you're screwed. Would be nice to be able to filter episodes like full episodes, bonus context (especially since we have to pay for this). Kinda annoying to have to scroll for days to find them.

The app used to be great but now makes listening super difficult. Stitcher has been taking longer for uploads so I was listening here but now I'd rather wait. The clip you are listening to will shut off immediately if the phone times out or if you attempt to click into any other app. You will then need to go back and attempt to make mini swipes on the little player trying to figure out where you are. Very sad since the bert show is so dang good.
