I LOVE the bert show!! I would give the app 5 stars, but, here recently (right after the holiday break) the app started shutting down once the phone screen times out. Not only does it stop playing, it completely shuts down the app to where you have to go back into the app and click on what you were just listening to and hope that you can find where you left off without having to relisten to what you just heard. Please fix this and I will update my review.

This review is only for this App as the Bert Show is 10/10 amazing. This App is not compatible with my Android Google phone. Since they've updated their app it will no longer play for more than 15 seconds of each show and cuts off. The most recent app had an option to tap the send button to website form allowing you to play each segment in the background. However now, that option is gone. Now I have to go to their website and tap each show on ACast to listen. Don't use this app!

LOVE The Bert Show and i finally decided to download the app but it doesn't even stay on. As soon as my screen turns off, the whole app closes and it doesn't even open to what I was listening to. I didn't even get thru the 1st ad of the 1st podcast before it timed out. I even went to look for permissions to see if I had to turn it on to play in the background but it doesn't have the option. Super bummed.
