The Quest - Caerworn Castle is an expansion to The Quest, a beautifully hand-drawn open world role playing game with old school grid-based movement and turn based combat.

After enabling the expansion, you can explore new areas and adventures. However, if you don't have The Quest, you can also play the expansion as a standalone game.

Caerworn Castle is haunted by ghosts and demons and in desperate need of repair. Its occupants are victims of a feud between two brothers, prolonged by Lord Alderley who wishes to extend his power. Are you frightened of ghosts and the evils of the night? Dare you enter this ravaged land to save the castle? It will take all your skills to change the balance of power. Great evils await you and a friend. The ghost of Lord John Sheets, the father of the dueling brothers, waits in Caerworn Castle for you to give him rest.

To access the new areas (not applicable if you are playing the expansion standalone), go to Mithria harbor and talk to captain Hanty, then select "Caerworn Castle" as your travel destination. It's recommended you reach at least level 60 before taking on the challenges posed by this expansion.

Level 60 Caerworn Castle was okay not the best one and not the worse one, but starts off with lots of pre-enchanted gear, but honestly Level 45 Celtic Queen started with double the amount of even better pre-enchanted gear besting Level 60 Caerworn gear plus a dozen enchant capable gear in the 900-3000 range with most notable 2500 boots where high enchant capable boots hard to come by plus book of enchant first item and 3000 belt hard to come by found easily start of the game no fighting.

The Castle awaits... Once again, a new quest add-on/ Standalone/Adventure of Yezdagert awaits. Whether you bring your own character from The Quest mainland, create one, or use Yezdagert (classic pre-generated character) be ready for a rough ride, but an excellent one. This is definitely one of the tougher quests, but a rewarding one. It has a Celtic feel, like Celtic Rift and Celtic Queen, and a very dark atmosphere (although classic Quest humor does show up from time to time). As with all the series, this one will draw you in. Enjoy- meantime, Yez and I have work to do.

I always get every expansion, even though I've only played the first 3. I plan to play from the beginning and get caught up... If I don't get distracted by real life as usual. You guys always put out quality work, and I will support that.
