About this app

The Avant Money app will help you manage your credit card on the go. Our secure app allows you to approve online purchases, receive transaction alerts when your card gets used, and much more.

App features
• Keep on top of your spending with our card spending control features and choose the alerts you want to receive. Our card features will enable you to receive alerts for spend amounts over a certain value, get alerts when your card is used in various locations, like an ATM, or if your card is used to spend abroad.
• Make shopping online even more secure by approving or declining your purchases in-app by simply presenting your Fingerprint, Face or entering your 4-digit app login passcode.
• Make a payment to your account with a debit card
• View your transactions and transaction details.
• View and download your statements.

Getting started
It’s quick and easy.
Existing Avant Money customers will need:
• Your existing Avant Money username and password that you currently use to access your account on my.avantmoney.ie.
• Register your mobile, we’ll send an SMS to your phone to confirm it’s you.
• Create a 4-digit login passcode and choose to use your Fingerprint or Face as a secure alternate login method.

New to Avant Money?
• Once we send you your card and account details, visit my.avantmoney.ie and register your details online. You’ll need to create a username and password and then you will be able to set-up the Avant Money app on your phone.
• Register your mobile, create a 4-digit login passcode and choose to use your Fingerprint or Face as a secure alternate login method.

Supported devices
• Fingerprint or Face logon requires a compatible mobile running Android 6.0 or higher.

Suddenly, it's not recognising my fingerprint. Wouldn't accept my passcode either. When I clicked "forgot passcode" it automatically logged me out of everything, so now I can't even retry fingerprint or passcode later and it's asking me for a username and password. Awful app experience. Makes me just consider getting a different card with a better app.

Notifications for payments seem not to work on Android 13, both on a Pixel 6 & a Samsung S21. Any chance of getting this fixed? It used to work on the Pixel before the Android update. Update notifications still not working on Android 14. Both Revolut & Google Wallet have no problems with notifications for payments so I've switched to using them. 12/04/2024 update - finally notifications are working again following an update to the app, that only took several years!

App doesn't seem to have a time out function. All other finance institutions will time out if inactive. The log out option is only available from the menu screen. For ease of use, there should be one from the main transaction screen as that is the default when the app opens. I'm assuming (hoping) the statements will be available on the app. Nothing showing up yet, but only recently installed the app.
