Update on 04 MAY 2026 has broken the app, making the app, and therefore the card, all but useless. Despite no less than 3 emails from Avant that the problem is fixed, it persists. Unable to login via the app without multiple capcha challenges and biometrics don't work at all. Also, the app blocks both Samsung and Google Pass...both are infinitely more secure than the Avant app could ever be. Very poor software engineering. Even worse customer service.

I made a couple charges & those small transactions showed up in the app. Great. Then when it was time for the 1st payment, $75 annual fee was taken from credit limit & the transactions just disappeared. Update: As of 4/24, I can not see any transactions for April and this same glitch happened in March. Looks like there will be a week or so out of every month where your recent transactions aren't visible which stops you from being able to dispute fraudulent charges when or if they were to occur.

I am having the worst experience with avant and the credit card with them. I sent an eft from my bank account 3 days before it was due, continually kept checking to see if the payment was processed, My bank said it was completed, I sent proof of payment and the app, FINALLY states The payment was received the day it was due, yet I was charged a late fee. stay far away from avant especially if your trying to increase and be responsible with your credit / score. The customer service is garbage!
