Bus⁺ is a mobile application with an integrated occupancy display and GPS live tracking for city bus traffic in Offenburg. The aim of the application is to provide passengers with useful information about their connection and to make planning and starting the journey as pleasant as possible. Bus⁺ offers the following functions for this:
Bus live tracking
With Bus⁺ you can always see where your bus is. You can easily follow the live position in our map view. This allows you to better time your way to the stop and avoid unnecessary waiting times. You can also use Bus⁺ to make sure that the bus is still coming or has already passed!
Utilization indicator
Using our load indicator, you get relevant information about the current load on the bus and can react accordingly. Because you know how much is going on at the moment, you can keep an eye on the possibility of overcrowding and you can better assess whether or not Corona distance measures can be observed. If there is too much going on, we'll show you when the next bus is coming (and where it is).
Favorites function
Our favorites function makes your search for the right journey in everyday life easier. You can save regular connections here and get the current next trip displayed with just one click. Alternative journeys can be conveniently selected using our search function.
In addition to the main functions, Bus⁺ has other features to offer! Our search function enables most of the functions offered by common public transport applications, including information about the current timetable with start and finish times, travel times and fastest connections. Our map also shows the color-coded bus routes and thus visually shows possible bus connections.
