When you select/click on app(s) it takes you to the app info screen of selected app(s); from where you are to select "Force Stop" in order to close the app.
Closing an app implies that you are aware that all the background functionality (service, periodic task, event receiver, alarm, widget update, push message) of this app will not be functional until you/your action(s) open the app again.

Ratings and reviews

I have been using this app for many years on Android TV, it is very useful to free up RAM and quickly shutdown apps. However, I do not like the new UI as it feels cluttered. Can you please bring back version 1.2G? That is the best version in my opinion, it is very simple and fast, and I like the UI layout. Also, in the latest version, it keeps saying I don't have the Amazon App installed... but I am not using an Amazon Fire device.

Great app. It's very usefull and makes my battery last HOURS longer and makes my open programs and games run much more smoothly without all the unnessessary background processing. The only thing I would wish for you to add is the option to close all set apps with the push of ONE button.. or even timed and automatic like, if you could set it to close all the apps every 30 min, or hour, and so on. But it is still a great app and I appreciate your work!

Worked well for several months. All of a sudden, if I force close an app then go back to Background to do it again for another I app, I'm forced to watch an add. In general, that's no big deal, but I can't get out of it. Seems like I'd need a mouse which I don't have (on my TiVo 4k streaming stick). Am I missing something?
