Welcome to the AppIDEX program. Evaluation of the difficulty of extinguishing forest fires in the territory.

This application is presented as a tool for the rapid study of energy behavior and extinction opportunities in the territory. The energetic behavior will include both the behavior of the surface fire and the behavior of crowns and the generation of eruptive phenomena. Opportunities for extinction include aspects such as the presence of roads, preventive infrastructure, penetrability, the difficulty imposed for opening defense lines and the rate of discharges from aerial means.

The formulations for calculating fire behavior and extinction opportunities have been developed within the financial framework of the Interreg-Poctep project "Iberian Center for Research and Fight against Forest Fires (CILIFO)"
