About this app

AppTCR is a tool designed to determine the numerical characteristics of fire propagation in the combustion of plant formations associated with forest ecosystems. Based on input data that the user must enter into the AppTCR, which are indicated below: fuel model, percentage of terrain slope, moisture of the dead fine fuel <6mm thick and wind speed at half flame (km/ h), the application returns information regarding the propagation speed in m/min, the flame length in meters and the foreseeable distance of the secondary sources in km, generated from the main propagation front of the flame front.

The calculations have provided the results corresponding to the rapid calculation tables (TCR), they have been obtained through the VISUAL-FUEGO computer program. The application has been made for the following forest fuel modeling classification options: Behave System and UCO40 System
