PARENTAL CONTROL FOR ANDROID TV & GOOGLE TV

Install TVCP on the family TV you want to manage.

TV Control for Parents is the TV app in the TVCP parental control system. It works with compatible Android TV and Google TV devices and connects to TVCP Guardian on a parent or guardian’s phone.

IMPORTANT: TWO APPS ARE REQUIRED
TVCP works with two connected apps:
1. Install TV Control for Parents on your Android TV or Google TV.
2. Install TVCP Guardian on the parent or guardian’s phone.
3. Scan the QR code shown on the TV to connect both apps.
4. Manage the TV’s parental control settings from the phone.

WHAT PARENTS CAN MANAGE

SET TV SCREEN-TIME LIMITS
Choose how long your child can use the family TV. When the available screen time ends, TVCP automatically locks the television.

LOCK OR UNLOCK THE TV
Lock the TV remotely from TVCP Guardian using a secure PIN. When the TV is locked, it cannot be used until the parent allows access again.

BLOCK APPS ON ANDROID TV
Choose which installed apps are available on the TV. Block YouTube, games, streaming apps or other apps you do not want your child to use.

SET A TV SLEEP TIMER
Choose when TV time should end automatically. The sleep timer helps support bedtime routines and consistent evening limits.

MANAGE EVERYTHING FROM THE PARENT APP
All parental controls are managed from TVCP Guardian on the parent or guardian’s phone. There is no need to take away the remote or change settings directly on the TV.

TVCP helps parents create clear and consistent rules around television use without constant supervision or daily arguments.

TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION
A 7-day trial may be available to eligible new subscribers through the TVCP Guardian app.

The trial includes:
• TV screen-time management
• TV lock
• App blocking
• Sleep timer

After the trial, an active subscription is required to continue using these parental control features.

Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through Google Play. They help keep TVCP ad-free and support ongoing improvements, reliability and new parental control features.

PERMISSIONS
TVCP requires access to the list of installed applications so parents can choose which apps are allowed or blocked on the TV. This access is used only to provide the app-blocking feature.

COMPATIBILITY
TVCP works with compatible Android TV and Google TV devices only. TVCP Guardian must also be installed on the parent or guardian’s phone.
