Texto is a fast, clean SMS/MMS app you set as your default messaging app. Free and ad-free — with features other SMS apps don't have.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
✓ SMS and MMS, conversations, contacts, search
✓ Type texts on your computer — you type, your phone sends. If you sit at a desk all day, you don't have to reach for the phone for every message. End-to-end encrypted; only your browser can read them.
✓ SMS by e-mail — send an e-mail and Texto delivers it as an SMS; the reply comes back to your inbox.
It can do this too: does your booking or ordering software send SMS through a paid gateway? Save the customer's number as an email address and the software sends an email (usually free) — Texto delivers it as an SMS from your own phone, at your tariff price.
✓ Scheduled SMS — send birthday wishes at six in the morning while you're still asleep. Schedule the rent reminder for the first of every month. Training reminder every Friday.
✓ Reminders — they arrive as a message, so you won't miss them: collect a parcel, pay an invoice, an anniversary. Daily to yearly repeats, home-screen widget.

PRIVACY
Your messages stay on your phone. Web sync is end-to-end encrypted (AES-256) — not even our server can read the content. Free and ad-free.
Missed calls? The companion MissCall service automatically texts back anyone whose call you missed — from your own number (e.g. "I'll call you back."). Automatic replies are provided by the MissCall service at misscall.io, not by the Texto app itself — both work with the same account. Great for freelancers, clinics and small businesses.

What’s new
Fix: incoming SMS can no longer be lost under any circumstances. More accurate SIM-based sorting and a more reliable Spam folder (spam and blocked numbers are saved, just hidden).
