About this app
Game Zapper shows you what your phone is actually doing while you play, and then explains it in plain English. Live FPS, CPU load, temperature, memory and ping in one place, with an AI that reads those numbers and tells you what they mean.
Live performance stats
Check CPU load, available memory, an FPS counter, network ping and CPU temperature at a glance, updated live.
In-game overlay
Switch on a small, movable panel that shows live FPS, temperature and battery on top of your game, so you can watch performance without leaving the match.
Your games in one place
Add your games to the grid and launch them straight from Game Zapper. Tap ZAP to close background apps you are not using. It works with whatever you have installed, from battle royale and shooters to racing, sports and open world games.
Game Mode
Silence notifications and calls while you play, so nothing interrupts you. A notification stays up while Game Mode is on, so you always know it is active.
AI insights
Tips tailored to your device. Game Zapper sends a snapshot of performance stats only, never your personal data, to Google's Gemini, which explains what the numbers mean.
Custom DNS
Optionally point your DNS at Google Public DNS or Cloudflare. If your lag and high ping are coming from your connection, a quicker lookup can lower latency. This feature uses Android's VpnService to run a local, on-device connection. It only changes which DNS server your phone uses. It does not send your traffic through an outside server, and it does not record or inspect your browsing.
What it will not do
Game Zapper does not overclock your phone, it does not edit the graphics settings inside your games, and it does not promise frame rates it cannot deliver. Closing background apps helps in some situations and makes no difference in others, depending on your device, your Android version and the game. Everything runs on your device.
