About this app

UPG is a companion app for compatible UPG lithium battery management systems (BMS). Connect to a nearby battery over Bluetooth and view essential operating data in a clear, easy-to-read dashboard.

UPG communicates directly with supported battery hardware using Bluetooth. No account is required to view data from a compatible device.

Compatibility and permissions:

- A compatible UPG BMS-equipped battery is required.
- Bluetooth and nearby-device access are required to discover and connect to the battery.
- On some Android versions, location access must be enabled for Bluetooth device discovery.
- Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a device QR code or barcode.

Battery readings are provided for monitoring purposes. Always follow the battery manufacturer's instructions and safety guidance.
