About this app

WildRoute is a dispersed camping finder built specifically for overlanders on US public land. The hard part of free camping isn’t finding pins on a map — it’s knowing whether a spot is legal, reachable in your rig, and actually viable when you get there. Most apps stop at a generic pin. WildRoute goes further.
The core is an AI search agent that combines BLM and USFS dispersed camping data with terrain modeling, slope and canopy analysis from USGS LiDAR, burn scar history, and access road quality. You enter where you’re headed and what you drive, and the app returns scored sites that fit your rig — not somebody else’s. A 4Runner with a rooftop tent and a Class C get different answers for the same area.
WildRoute runs on web and mobile (iOS and Android). It’s built by an overlander for overlanders, and we’re shipping fast — new data layers, better scoring, and richer recommendations land every week.
