About this app

One message, a hundred people — and each of them gets their own.

Write the text once, with the recipient's name in the right place. IWishU builds a different message for every contact and opens it ready to go in WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS, one after another: you check it and you send it.

WRITE ONCE, PERSONALISE FOR EVERYONE

• Variables: type "Happy holidays $Name" and everyone reads their own name.
• Optional blocks: text in square brackets disappears when the data is missing. "Happy holidays $Name[, and best wishes to $Spouse too]" never leaves half a sentence for the people who don't have that field filled in.
• Fallbacks: "$Nickname | $Name | my friend" uses the first value it finds.

No more copy-paste with the wrong name in it.

YOUR CONTACTS STAY YOURS

There is no server. The contacts you add live in the app's own directory, on your phone, and are never uploaded anywhere. The backup is yours to make, whenever you want, with Export Backup: a single file you can keep or move to another phone. Export and import are always available, with or without a subscription.

Separate groups for customers, family, colleagues, suppliers — each with its own default channel (WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS) and its own saved message.

• Unlimited groups and custom fields.
• Multicultural calendars: 14 of them — Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Islamic, Jewish, Chinese, Japanese, Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist in its three traditions, plus an International calendar for secular occasions. Link a calendar to a group and the app warns you in the days before the holiday — Christmas, Chinese New Year, Diwali, Eid, Vaisakhi, Rosh Hashanah — so you don't forget, and you write on the right day for each of them.
• Bulk import from CSV, to bring in hundreds of contacts at once.
• Saved message templates you can reuse.

Holiday alerts are a Pro feature: the free version does not send notifications.

DATES WE DON'T MAKE UP

Lunar holidays — Eid, Diwali, Chinese New Year — are only known for certain a few days ahead, and they differ from country to country. When a date isn't settled yet, the app says so instead of faking confidence. And when a calendar runs out of data, it tells you that too, instead of quietly stopping.

A group can have one religious calendar at most, plus the International one. That limit is deliberate: wishing the same person both Christmas and Eid means writing on the wrong day for one of them.

FREE VERSION

Up to 2 groups and 1 custom field. Variables, optional blocks, fallbacks and backup are all there, with no cap on how many messages you send.

PERSONALISATION (separate purchases)

Your own logo, banner and background, to make the app look like yours. These are one-off purchases, independent from the Pro subscription: you can buy just one.

IWishU speaks English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Russian and Chinese.
