Looking for a babysitter, nanny or tutor in Japan? CareFinder has your family covered! We thoroughly vet all sitters in our community so that you can quickly and easily find childcare you can trust, whether you’re planning a date night or need long-term help.

Our sitters come to Japan from all around the world; more than 60 countries are represented in our community! Introduce your family to new cultures and customs or learn a new language. All CareFinder sitters have childcare experience and many also have professional backgrounds. Hire a sitter who can double as a math tutor, a piano teacher, nurse or cooking instructor! We have tons of available sitters all over Japan, so it won’t be difficult to find the right fit for your family.

How Does it Work?
CareFinder makes finding the best childcare for your family simple!

Once you become a CareFinder member, you can easily post a job by filling in our template. Whether you need a babysitter for one night, regular afterschool care, or anything in between, our system walks you through the job creation and posting process. You can find sitters based on location, pay, experience, “extras” (for example cooking, cleaning or tutoring) and availability. Did you find a babysitter whose profile seems perfect for your needs? You can even invite them directly to apply for your job!

And once you have your job posted, the CareFinder app makes keeping tabs on things easy. You’ll receive notifications when sitters apply for your job, respond to a message or provide an update during the sitting. You can also pay your sitter directly through the app – with the tap of a button!

Every sitter on our platform goes through a multi-step screening process before being approved to work in the CareFinder community. All babysitters must also be registered with the Japanese government. The CareFinder team monitors sittings and provides as-needed support to parents and babysitters should any issues ever arise. Every sitting booked through CareFinder is also protected by liability insurance. We’re parents too and take the safety of everyone in our community seriously.
