I've just installed the app and transferred several RAW files from my 70D to my Samsung phone, edited them in Snapseed and posted them on Facebook in a very short time. No problems at all. Some previous negative comments bear no resemblance to my experience. Either unlucky, not tech savvy or maybe even Nikon trolls? 😉
This is easily the worst experience for me. It was working well before but after update, every time when I use this app to connect to my canon 6D I need to reset everything. Compare to Sony which operates perfect this is absolutely garbage. Canon if you're listening please fix it. For my next DSLR I'll definitely consider something else.
This app just simply, stinks. For such a global name like Canon to put this trash out there for owners of almost certainly expensive Canon equipment is, baffling... I am probably going to return my item and spend my £500 on a better option.
fully retarded. barely connects and on the 1 time out of 100 it does: you can't pull a video from the sdcard and 21megabyte raw cr2 files get turned into 210kilobyte jpegs. pure garbage. could not be worse if it tried.
When it works right it's pretty good. But it's patchy and awkward to connect camera to phone, and has too many things which will stop it connecting without delivering a sensible message as to why. Canon, you can definitely do better, for the sake of your brand and reputation.
Such a good idea, but it is so unreliable, you have to connect again and again and again until it works, then hope it sees the images or you have to start again. Usually takes about 10-20 attempts before it connects and recognises the images on the camera. Whoever wrote this app clearly did not bother to test it at all.
Supports image transfer linkage with other Canon applications.
Added support for new Canon cameras ( PowerShot G1 X Mark III ).
