The app have no problem in connecting to my canon 1300D. Don't go on the negative review for new update. The new update is a lott better in looks and layout from the previous version. The only problem is that this app still doesn't allow to download photos in bulk which is a bit annoying and is still outdated in design and layout though developed by a company like canon. The app layout and design is like a child has made this app! Wish they fix this in the next update and hope they add a option do download multiple pics at once.
I just got a Canon 6D and was happily using EOS Remote app when it told me to switch to Camera Connect. I have now wasted 30min of my life trying to get this to work! It connects via WiFi but but will not connect to the camera! Very disappointed with Canon's QA.
Was working good. Then updated and my Samsung Tab A is no longer able to connect. This is a huge problem. This needs to be fixed immediately. Please either come out with a fix right away or revert back an update so we can get it functioning again.
The app is working fine for what I use it for, but it would be nice to have an option when downloading images to store them directly to the sd card instead of the phone storage since not all phones have large internal memory
I've been used this app for 6 month to connect my SX420IS to my LG Smartphone and it works fine till the last update, it CAN'T connect anymore to my Camera.. Whats wrong with you Dev? Fix it please, i need this app.. 5 star if you can solve the problem..
A bit disappointing in various ways. There is a senseless limitation of 2 minutes on the length of video files the app can transfer. But the live remote facility is a complete waste! I dared to dream I could plunk my camera on a tripod and operate it 100% remotely, but I can find no way to start and stop a video recording from the app. Stills only - whoopee dang!
