With this application you can check the location of the sun changing with the season.
Point the device to the sky, this application will display the position of the sun over the camera image like the AR.
You can also go to the world's favorite places on GoogleMap and display the sun's trajectory in that place in 3D.

It can also be useful when planning things that have a lot to do with the movement of the sun.
Taking photos, installing solar panels, home gardens, home renovation and purchase, checking shaded places on the go, etc.

Cool idea, but I wanted it for the AR feature and it's very lacking. I can't force it to stay in AR mode, you have to point your camera at the sky and hope it auto detects, and I was doing it from inside an apartment to get an idea of light exposure throughout the day. Also, even when you can get it to work, the position in AR of the sun is super off

Love it. It takes away years of guessing in how to properly setup up my solar setup. In Namibia i choose to have it setup for winter. Theres enough solar radiation in summer autumn and spring. Cooler panels summertime where applicable is the goal for me. The adds for me is not a problem

This app is the most generous about what it offers. U get all the practical information you may need as an amateur, and probably as a professional too.
