It's a very fun game, but my issue is that it's become more of a pay-to-win game. Sure you can progress without spending any money, which is what I'm doing, but it's difficult. The hearts take so long to replenish, the catch rates are low, some levels aren't accessible without using up a Jewel, and you waste hearts even if you win! Like I said the match puzzles are actually fun, which is why I haven't uninstalled it, but I wish I could actually play for more than just a few minutes at a time.

This game has super cute sprites & music. Average levels can be pretty challenging, & catching every Pokémon you come across feels impossible if you don't pay for gems, balls, or coins. I've lost out on so many cute captures because I can't afford the great balls! I personally think the expert levels were too hard as well, but also, I'm not a Pokémon prodigy 🤣

Coming from a player of the 3DS version, it's a bit of a mixed reception. The prices for the boosts increased a bit to compensate for the easy payment stuff for those that do, but otherwise it's a bit of an increase. I think the breaking points are the required capture at certain points (minor) as well as the absolute tease of the Super catch opportunity REGARDLESS of whether or not a player can purchase a Great Ball. I know others like this version, but I'll likely stick to the 3DS one.
