PoStRing is an SNS that connects people with similar movements and routines.
Simply open the app at an event or in the city, and instantly connect with those around you. Plus, by favoriting a location, you can "stay there" and join the timeline even after you've left.

This app is inspired by "street corner conversations" and aims to create a comfortable SNS by connecting people who share the common experience of having been in the same place.
In face-to-face communication, the spread of information is naturally constrained by physical movement, yet it can also be overheard by passersby. PoStRing deliberately recreates these constraints, functioning as a "digital street corner conversation."
How It Works:
You can post messages (Rings) at your current location or at any FavoriteLocation (places you have marked as favorites).
Messages posted within a 500m radius of your selected location are visible. Additionally, you can share and spread (Chain) Rings to other locations, allowing you to introduce your favorite spots to others.
Use PoStRing for:
Connecting with people in your neighborhood, during outings, or at events
Discovering and sharing local events and store information
Interacting with people who share your favorite spots

Right to Be Forgotten:
To ensure a free and spontaneous communication environment, all Rings and direct messages (DMs) automatically disappear every Wednesday at 00:00 JST.
This allows users to express themselves without being bound by past statements.

✔ Save favorite locations as "FavoriteLocation" to easily post and browse Rings
✔ Retrieve location information from a taken photo and save it as a FavoriteLocation.
✔ Post Rings with location data attached (current location or FavoriteLocation)
✔ View Rings within a 500m radius of your selected location
✔ Privacy-focused location sharing – location data is slightly randomized by default
✔ Hide locations or restrict Chains for enhanced privacy
✔ Chain (Share) Rings to other locations
✔ Visualize the spread of Rings on a map
✔ Add users to your Friend List (PoStRing does not have a traditional follow system)
