How it works:
Web-based platform: Our system has a web-based component that serves as the central hub for monitoring and managing incidents.
Mobile apps: We have two mobile app user types:
KrimeMonitor: For the public, allowing users to report incidents and receive alerts.
KrimeWatch: For control room personnel, enabling them to monitor and respond to incidents.
Incident reporting: When a user captures a suspect incident on their mobile device, the app sends encrypted evidence, including video, GPS location, and timestamp, to the control station via cloud computing.
Monitoring and response: Control room personnel review the incident footage and assess the intensity of the incident. Based on the severity, they trigger alerts to nearby users with relevant details and precautions.
