Smart Compass Pro is the 3rd set of Smart Tools® collection.

This online compass is a tool to search bearings (azimuth, directions) with embedded magnetic sensors. It has 4 significant features below.

1. Although you may turn your phone into portrait or landscape mode, the heading is fixed.
2. Camera view is used for reality.
3. Metal detector is included to verify magnetic sensor.
4. GPS and map are supported.

The compass app depends on the performance of your device exactly. If the compass works perfectly, it means that your sensors are perfect, too.
If it is inaccurate, please check that yours aren't being affected by a magnetic field. This app have several options to calibrate your device.

Metal detector app measures magnetic field with an embedded magnetic sensor.
The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 49μT(micro tesla) or 490mG(milli gauss); 1μT = 10mG. When any metal(steel, iron) is near, magnetic field level will increase.

Since Android's birth, I've installed about 40 compass apps. This is by FAR the best. 6 modes, 5 azimuth types, 5 coordinate types, an awesome lensatic mode, calibration, offsets, and more... And it's ACCURATE. So I bought this one before I realized there are two separate modes... One is the compass, the other is a metal detector! And yes it works. You just have to know which part of your device has the sensors being used.

Excellent. Very accurate. I have the Smart Tools 2 app that includes this but I bought this so that I can pull up the compass directly. I am not clear on how to save my parking location is that possible with this compass? Turns out that the parking location feature works in all of the modes except the "Map" modes.

This compas...for real it's not only dead accurate, it fun to use. Just like in the scouts, or military etc, you are "dead reckoning" ahead as you drive or walk; as if looking through a manual magnetic one, or through a camera. You are seeing your approaching foreground (the compas is translucent... showing degrees on all sides). Also with a map and GPS... It is simply quintessential!
