SubwayMate is an independent transit guide designed to help visitors to Korea use the Seoul Metropolitan Area subway more easily.
• Explore an original schematic map and find stations by zooming and panning
• Use the app in Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese
• Choose a departure station, an optional stopover and a destination to compare routes and transfers
• Clearly distinguish times based on official timetables from estimated routes and times
• Check outdoor weather near the destination and crowding in supported areas when data is available
• When available, see a station-area guide with today's nearby events and food recommendations; results may be cached for up to 24 hours
• Optionally receive an alert one station before you get off
• Rate station facilities and guidance experiences from 1 to 5 without an account or public profile; only the aggregated average is shown
• Use the core guide without signing in
Data availability varies by line, operator, station and time. Some features are not available at every station, and the app does not claim real-time coverage across the entire network. SubwayMate labels timetable-based information and estimates separately. For actual service, follow station and operator announcements.
SubwayMate is not an official app of Seoul Metro, the Korea Meteorological Administration, any public agency or any rail operator.
