About this app

Volume Panel is a custom Android volume control app that replaces the default volume panel with smarter sliders, themes, widgets, shortcuts, app profiles, stream locking and audio tools.

Control media, ring, notification, alarm, call and system volume from a custom panel built for speed, style and everyday use. Add media controls, brightness, cast volume, Quick Settings tiles, home screen widgets, shortcuts and floating access.

AUDIO TOOLBOX WITH EQ AND BOOST

Shape your sound with the new Audio Toolbox. Use the graphic equalizer to adjust EQ bands for music, video, games or everyday listening. Try experimental media boost when supported to lift media volume.

EQ and boost support may vary by Android version, device, active media session, audio app and output.

CUSTOM VOLUME CONTROL

Build a volume panel that looks and works your way.

• Custom volume sliders
• Stream icons and slider thumbs
• Animated wave headers
• Custom colours and gradients
• Light, dark and automatic themes
• Rounded corners and transparency
• Portrait and landscape layouts
• Panel size, position and timeout controls
• Import and export .vpb themes

VOLUME PROFILES FOR APPS

Volume Profiles help keep different apps at the right level. Set profiles for games, music apps, video players, browsers and other apps.

Modes:
• Live: records changes and applies them as you switch apps
• Play: applies saved app volume profiles
• Stop: disables volume profiles

STREAM LOCKING

Long press supported volume streams to lock them and help prevent unwanted changes to media, ring, notification, alarm or call volume.

Use stream locking to protect audio levels from hardware buttons, media apps or accidental touches.

MEDIA, CAST AND BRIGHTNESS

Volume Panel is more than a volume slider.

• Media playback controls where supported
• Cast volume control where supported
• Bluetooth and audio output shortcuts where supported
• Screen brightness slider
• Ring, vibrate, silent and Do Not Disturb controls where supported

WIDGETS, SHORTCUTS AND QUICK ACCESS

Open and control Volume Panel your way.

• Home screen volume widgets
• Launcher shortcuts
• App shortcuts
• Quick Settings tiles
• Floating trigger
• Volume button override where supported
• Action shortcuts from the panel

BROKEN OR AWKWARD VOLUME BUTTONS

If your physical volume buttons are broken, worn, stiff, awkward to reach or unreliable, Volume Panel gives you other ways to control Android volume from anywhere.

Open your custom volume panel with a floating trigger, widget, shortcut, Quick Settings tile or volume button override where supported.

WHY USE VOLUME PANEL?

• Replace Android’s default volume panel
• Get custom Android volume control
• Use a graphic EQ and audio toolbox
• Try experimental media boost
• Control media, ring, alarm, call and system volume
• Create themes and slider styles
• Use widgets, shortcuts and Quick Settings tiles
• Set app volume profiles
• Lock volume streams
• Add media, cast and brightness controls
• Help with broken or awkward volume buttons

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE USE

Volume Panel uses Android’s AccessibilityService API only for optional features you choose to enable, including volume button detection, the custom volume panel overlay, floating trigger, volume button override and active app detection for Volume Profiles.

Volume Panel does not read screen text, collect personal information, record audio, capture passwords, read messages or share AccessibilityService data with LeeDrOiD Labs or third parties. Accessibility access is optional and can be disabled at any time in Android settings.

Volume Panel is free to try and includes ads. Pro Unlock is available to remove ads and unlock premium features.

Feature availability varies by Android version, device manufacturer, permissions, active media session and audio output.

Hi Navin, The app only asks for what it specifically needs and the individual permissions are tied to each function. It doesn't send or receive anything, to or from the internet and doesn't capture or store anything other than it's own settings, take a look at its data usage in settings > apps for a little more reassurance. Thanks Lee

Feature request.. can you make it such that the trigger can be placed on both the left and right of the screen.. instead of having to choose one?

It's great—thanks! I've replaced my floating-button volume app, as this lets you open all sliders in one tap. The many options are a bit confusing (an hour or two with a technical writer would prob. help 😉), but they're clear enough once you play w/them. • [EDIT] Feature suggestion: If the volume-slider UI is open when the user taps a navigation button (Back, Home Page, Recent Apps), the UI should probably close right away instead of continuing to cover the screen. 😉
