Ratings and reviews

The app is better than the previous version, with significant improvements in UI/UX and overall features. However, it still lacks the ability to open USD fixed deposits through the app or Sampath Vishwa web platform. This is a crucial feature that should be included, as nearly all other banks offer it. Adding this functionality would greatly enhance the convenience and usability of the app for customers.

The app and the banking features are honestly great. Love the fact that you don't have to know the branch of an account. My one complaint is that the app icon isn't Material You compatible. So I have to keep the app hidden in an obscure corner of the phone instead of the home screen because it doesn't match the theme.

The app always struggles with sending the OTP. Most of the time, I don't receive the OTP in the first 2-3 attempts, sometimes even more. After some time, all the OTPs arrive at once. Even when I'm in a hurry, this takes too much time and is the worst experience with Sampath Banking. Many people who use this app have told me the same thing.
